Owner · Certified Personal Trainer · Head Coach

I’m the woman behind CynFit, a coach, wife, dog rescuer, and someone who lives with chronic illness. I understand that getting stronger can look different in every season of life.

Train With Cynthia

More than a coach

The person behind CynFit.

I created CynFit because I wanted women to have a place where they could learn to lift, ask questions, and build confidence without feeling watched or out of place.

But fitness is only one part of who I am. I’m a wife, a dog mom to three foster fails, and usually the person who stops what she is doing when an animal needs help. Fostering and rescue have taught me a lot about patience, consistency, and trust, the same things I value with the women I coach.

I care about knowing my clients as people. Some days you need a push. Some days you need a different option. Both can still be a good training day.

Strength and chronic illness

I understand when your body needs a different plan.

I live with Stage IV endometriosis. Pain, fatigue, surgery, and recovery have all changed the way I experience fitness at different times in my life.

That experience has made me a more understanding coach. I do not expect every body to move the same way every day. I explain modifications clearly and treat them as part of smart training, not something to feel embarrassed about.

My own fitness journey

I’ve had my own transformation, too.

I know the work behind a before and after photo because I have lived it. I remember the awkward beginning, the days when progress felt slow, and the confidence that came from realizing I was stronger than I thought.

My transformation changed more than my body. It helped shape the kind of coach I wanted to become and, eventually, the studio I wanted to build for other women.

How I coach

Clear, honest, and personal.

01

I teach before I expect.

You will see the movement and understand the goal before the workout begins.

02

I pay attention.

I watch form, give feedback, and adjust when something is not working for your body.

03

I will hold you accountable.

I know when you have more to give, and I also know when the smarter choice is a modification.
